Kaitlyn was an undergraduate student in the lab who majored in human geography and philosophy. She worked on a project dealing with water quality monitoring data for streams impacted by placer mining in northern BC, in collaboration with the Kaska Land Guardians. Her interests include effective co-creation of research with communities; policy and decision support systems; disaster response and emergency management; traditional and region-specific food security; belief and epistemology. In her free time, she’s drawing, reading, volunteering, or on a walk looking up at the clouds. She recently started a Master’s program in Human Geography at University de Montreal.
